Abstract:
This study investigated the genetic types and prospecting criteria of tungsten ore deposits in the western section of the Bangong Lake-Nujiang metallogenic belt by analyzing metallogenic geological conditions, mineralization characteristics and metallogenic controlling factors of the Shilong skarn scheelite deposit. The results show that the Bailong scheelite occurrences are dominantly skarn-type mineralization, followed by greisen type. Based on the results of surface engineering and profile survey of ore bodies, this study suggests that the area is of better potential for tungsten prospecting. The discovery of this mine is of great significance to further understanding the metallogenic geological characteristics and prospecting direction in the Bangong Lake-Nujiang metallogenic belt.
