Abstract:
To establish a standard system tailored to the unique geological conditions of Anhui Province and aligned with the development needs of geological surveys on land quality, this study integrates the latest evaluation standards to develop a local standard
Specifications for Land Quality Geochemical Surveys based on two decades of field survey experience. In light of the province’s complex topography, diverse geological settings, and various land use patterns, the Specifications innovatively proposes regional implementation rules and evaluation methods applicable to Anhui. ① The Specification designed differentiated sampling densities in accordance with the typical landforms including Wanbei Plain, Jianghuai Hills and Southern Anhui Mountains, as well as the general/anomalous/crucial geochemical zones; ② It optimized the mandatory and optional test indicators according to regional geochemical backgrounds across different survey media, enhancing analytical precision;③ It established a pH threshold of 5.5 to distinguish strongly acidic soils from acidic soils, enabling the creation of a geochemical grading for land quality evaluation; ④ It introduced methods for sustainable development of selenium-rich land resources and models for assessing geology-geochemistry suitability of premium agricultural product origins, bridging land resource evaluation with industrial development. The application of this standard and its findings provides robust scientific support for regional high-quality economic growth and ecological conservation.
