    江南造山带的形成与演化:来自新元古代南桥辉绿岩的证据

    Formation and tectonic evolution of the Jiangnan Orogen: Evidence from the Neoproterozoic Nanqiao diabase

    • 摘要: 江南造山带位于扬子地块东南缘,是扬子地块与华夏地块的构造拼贴带。长期以来,关于该造山带的形成与演化机制一直是地质科学界关注的焦点。文章以江南造山带中部的南桥辉绿岩为研究对象,运用LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb年代学分析方法及全岩地球化学分析手段,探讨了其岩石成因,并进一步探索了其对江南造山带形成与演化的指示意义。研究结果表明,南桥辉绿岩的锆石U-Pb年龄为839±7 Ma。从地球化学特征来看,南桥辉绿岩具有相对较低的SiO2含量(48.4%~52.0 %)、较高的MgO含量(6.96 %~9.12 %)以及较高的Mg#值(70.3~79.1),这些特征表明其属于拉斑玄武岩系列。在稀土元素和微量元素分布特征方面,大部分样品显示出轻稀土元素亏损,且无明显的Eu异常。此外,南桥辉绿岩还表现出高度不相容元素Rb和Th的富集,同时中度不相容元素Nb、Ta、Zr、Hf和Ti等亏损的特征。基于上述地球化学研究结果,推测南桥辉绿岩是减压作用导致软流圈地幔上升至相对较浅的层次(深度<85 km)后发生部分熔融的产物,指示了其形成于俯冲背景下的弧后拉张环境。结合已有的证据,进一步认为在850~820 Ma期间内,扬子地块东南缘发育了典型的“沟-弧-盆”体系,且扬子地块与华夏地块的最终拼合时间可限定为820~800 Ma。

       

      Abstract: The Jiangnan Orogen, situated on the southeastern margin of the Yangtze block, represents the tectonic suture zone between the Yangtze Block and Cathaysia Block. The formation and evolution of this orogenic belt remain significant research topics. This study presents LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating and petro-geochemical analyses of the Nanqiao diabase from the central Jiangnan Orogen, to investigate their petrogenesis and tectonic evolution implications. LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating indicates the Nanqiao diabase formed at ca. 839 ± 7 Ma. The diabase exhibits low SiO2 content (48.4%~52.0 %), relatively high MgO contents (6.96%~9.12 %) and high Mg# values (70.3~79.1), and characteristic of tholeiitic series. Most samples demonstrate light rare earth element (LREE) depletion without significant Eu anomalies, while some samples display LREE enrichment with pronounced negative Eu anomalies. The rocks show enrichment in highly incompatible elements such as Rb and Th but depletion in moderately incompatible elements including Nb, Ta, Zr, Hf, and Ti. Geochemical analysis suggests that the Nanqiao diabase originated from decompression-induced upwelling of mantle material at relatively shallow depths (<85 km), potentially associated with extension of a back-arc setting during subduction along the southeastern margin of the Yangtze Block. Integration with previous researches indicate a trench-arc-basin system developed along the southeastern margin of the Yangtze Block between 850 Ma and 820 Ma. The amalgamation between the Yangtze Block and the Cathaysia Block occurred at around 820~800 Ma.
