Structure difference analysis of oil reservoirs in the second and thirdmembers ofShahejie Formation in the Chengbei fault terrace zone of Qikou Sag,Bohai bay Basin

The study carried out the integrated analysis on structure difference of the Chengbei fault terrace using drilling geological and 3-Dseismic data. The results show that oil reservoirs of the second and third members of the Shahejie Formation occur mainly in the eastern fault terrace of the NW-trending fault, mainly concentrating in the Duanbi area and being controlled bythe fault activities and successive development of some NE-trending faults during the sedimentation stage of the first member of Shahejie Formation. The studyof structure difference of the middle and low fault terrace zone will provide aguideline for future exploration of oil reservoirs and be of some significance for the evaluation of oil reserves in the low Chengbei fault terrace zone.
