Geological-geophysical model research of deep prospecting for copper(gold)polymetallic deposits in the northern Ningwu area

Some porphyrite iron deposits or occurrences related to intermediate-basic continental volcanic rocks and copper-gold polymetallic deposits have been found to occur in the Ningwu basin. This study selected four typical deposits of such kind to study the mineralization of these deposits, the corresponding exploration and geological-geophysical characteristics, and further summarized the exploration methods and assemblage for such deposits, theirvalidity, and prospecting indicators. Finally, a prospecting model for deep copper-gold polymetallic deposits in the northern Ningwu area was established, which will provide reference for selecting prospecting target areas and metallogenic prognosis.
