    Geophysical characteristics and prospecting prediction of the Mabianshan-Huangtun-Hemaohe area in the northeastern Luzong basin

    • Mabianshan-Huangtun-Hemaohe area, which is located in the northeastern part of the Luzong(Lujiang-Zongyang)volcanic basin, experiences frequent magmatic activities at the depth. High-precision Magnetic and Controlled Source Audio Magnetotellurics(CSAMT)method was carried out in the area to identify deep rocks and structural distribution for further predicting target areas in the study area. In order to evaluate the reliability of geophysical exploration results, drilling was performed in the composite parts of fault FT1 and FT2, revealing gold-copper orebodies at depth of 100~250 meters around borehole(ZK18-1)and delineating the scope of gold and copper orebodies. This practice further increases prospecting results.
